Valentino Rockstud ballerinas

Does anyone have the rock stud ballerinas? DH got me a black patent pair for Christmas (after lots of hints!) in my usual size and they're a little tight. I'm guessing being patent they won't stretch much so wondering whether to exchange for half a size bigger...would be great to hear sizing experience of anyone who has them!

I would exchange them, I have a pair and for that price not worth being uncomfortable, I had to go up a half size.

What do you mean by tight? If they fit in the length, then they will be fine with a little wear, but if they're too short, then no, they won't stretch to fit you. If the shoe is just a little tight in the width, that will stretch with wear. Patent will stretch just like leather.

As an aside, I find Valentino are true to size. That said, I usually go up half a size in Italian shoes, as I prefer to put a half insole in.

Thank you both! Sounds like I need to go up half a size...they rub on the side of my heel on one foot and toes feel a little squashed at the front so hopefully half a size should do it 🤞🏼
(And now I've written that out I realise I of course need to exchange them! Was so excited when I opened them I didn't care at first but you're right no need to be uncomfortable!)

I have watched many YT videos of women who have bought these shoes, and almost all of them regretted buying them as they are so uncomfortable, unlike the heeled versions, which seem ok. Not saying you will find this problem, but they seem to end up in 'worst designer purchases list' frequently.

I have 2 pairs and find them very true to size but I have narrow feet and can’t wear Clark’s M n S or most high st as they are too wide
