I’m due a large overdue payrise and bonus in January thanks to winning a gender pay argument.
Me and my partner have an arrangement that we can each spend a percentage of the money on a treat for ourselves before adding the rest to joint savings.
I love beautiful clothes and am trying to gradually build up a selection of built to last classics in my wardrobe; stuff I am going to be excited to get out and wear still in a decade. I’m not too driven by the latest trend, more what suits me and my style and my preferences don’t change much.
I think next on my list is a really beautiful classic winter coat and boats and was thinking I’d make the most of the sales to chose something.
Where would you go for this and what would you buy?
Budget approx £500 for both, but some flex.
I am average height, size 8-10 but very large bust so must be a flattering shape and have a decent waist on it or I look swamped and a lot bigger than I am. I like burgundy, navy, black but also pinks and creams. Thinking a wool midi length. Boots I want to stick to black but something classic. Anything with a wide calf fitting option would be a hit!
So far I have favourited the Edeline and the Milly coats in the Hobbs sale and the Stephanie boots.
