Woolly jumper bobbling

I bought a lovely wool jumper second hand off Vinted, it came in great condition and I've worn it once. It's bobbled all over the chest area :/ any ideas how I've managed this, if it was new I would say its the jumper but as I said its second hand!

Natural wool bobbles . It's virtually inevitable. You can use a special comb to carefully remove the bobbles. I do it after each wear. It's nothing you've done wrong

Wool does bobble, you need a comb. It does calm down

Oh great, maybe it just hadn't been worn very much before the sale, or was combed first. It's so lovely and warm!

Pop it into the freezer for 48 hours. I do this anyway with second-hand purchases as I’m terrified of bringing in clothes moths, but apparently it also helps tighten the natural fibres (or something) and prevent pilling and shedding.
