BLISTEX LIP REPAIR CREAM is back on shelves. Just had to let others know. I'm on the verge of clearing the shelf- but won't. This is my big Christmas present to myself.

Oh wow fantastic. Have you tried it? Is it still as good? TBH, I’m worried as it came off the shelves due to formulation issues (combo of ingredients/formulation meant it should prob be a medicine not a cosmetic) and so it’s likely been mucked about with and ruined.

Yes! My mum found a shop that still had them and bought me five! I was panicked about what I’d do after they ran out. It’s the only thing that works for me in winter!

Not tried yet but all the ingredients sound the same- I'm so happy! Got it in home bargains- still here actually. As soon as I'm out I'll try it out.

I'm out and tried it, and it's just like it was before. My lips feel smooth and fresh with a menthol cooling feel. My life is now complete. 🤗

Yes, it's more of an intensive treatment. They used to market it for cold sores too but not sure if they still do.

I got my dad in the family secret Santa and have bought him one of these as part of his present. He'll be delighted!!

Ooh, where are you finding Blistex? None on Amazon - well not the one we mean.

I got mine in Quality Save which I think is part of Home Bargains.

I got mine in Savers too. The tube with the tiny pointy metal tip, not the one with the generic plastic slanted lip balm tip.

I thought it was cos one of the ingredients is used in cleaning products, so I was blaming Covid for it being missing! The Superdrug knock-off disappeared too, so I had to use Zovirax instead. Yippee! I've missed it.

I didn't realise I wasn't alone in wishing this back to the shelves. No idea how long its been gone for - I had a stock pile and ran out this winter and went to get one to be told they hadn't sold it in ages! Got the medplus one but it doesn't work for me in this weather - I can't wait to go get a tube once I'm out of isolation and covid free!

The original blue tubes I’ve seen listed on eBay for £60. Yes seriously!
I sang for joy when I found it in HB last week and it’s seems the same. I only purchased two in case it wasn’t but I will be stockpiling when I manage to get back there or into Savers.

You’ve made me realise I’m not alone in loving Blistex and worrying about it’s disappearance. I’m sure I found some in our local Waitrose recently, I was exceedingly happy and got one to add to my stash. Truly is a lip saver. I will be checking and buying more.

Got mine today, made a special trip to Savers and they had loads (I only bought one though, honest!). I was worried it might not be the same but it definitely seems to be.
