If you do better than jeans and a nice top for a night out

What do you do about keys, phone, lip balm?

I had a great night in a pub seeing a band last night. I'd originally put a dress on but changed back to jeans at the last minute because I needed pockets.

I don't want a bag in that kind of environment. I can't dance with it and I don't want to put it down.

I wish I could remember where I got it but I've had it for years! I'm sure eBay or similar will have something.

The key is to get the strap exactly the length you want so it doesn't joggle about and annoy you if you're dancing but also isn't so short you can rest your chin on it Grin.

@BusterGonad

Jeans and a nice top is very 1990s early 2000s. Think of Girls Aloud when they started out! 😂 I loved jeans and a nice top. Oasis and River Island were my favourite places for such fabulous pieces.
I loved River Island and I was so excited when one opened in my town! I have a heavy black cotton velvet jacket with covered buttons that I bought there in 1997 which I still wear, and I only wish I still had the sequin dress and sparkly boots. I went in one a couple of years ago and the quality was awful. Such a shame.

I had a couple of small chainmail bags with short straps that would sit under my armpit, just large enough for lippy, a packet of fags, keys and a purse. The fact they were chain mail had the added bonus of being nice and cooling in a hot club.

I had a chain mail coin purse which clipped open and closed, it was a reproduction of a 1920s (I think) purse and I adored it. I'm not sure what happened to it but I'd still use it today if I had it.
