Hybrid lashes

I've spent years nervously plucking my eyelashes when stressed. As a result they are obviously sparse.

In the summer I tried false eyelashes again (demi wispies) after years of failing at them and was pleased with the look.

I then decided something more permanent would make sense, so I got Hybrid lashes.

It was pretty uncomfortable having them put in. But afterwards was worse. The itching/irritation was insane and I ended up ripping all of them out by day 5.

Disclaimer - I'm really overly sensitive about stuff on my face. Childhood trauma, phobia, etc.

But do lashes normally feel better than "bloody irritating"? I'm wondering if my beautician was a bit crap.

Sounds like an allergy? Mine get sore having them done because of all the movement but they’re better within 25 hours and then I wouldn’t even know I had them in. If they’re itchy and uncomfortable, I’d think there was a problem with the glue. Did you have a patch test?

Lashes shouldn’t hurt. Sounds like an allergic reaction. Find a technician that does a patch test with a single lash on the eye. The skin on your eyes is so much more sensitive than your neck etc.

The only issue is that once you’ve had a reaction, you’re more likely to have a reaction again.
