What makes eyebrow tint last

So when I get my brows done by a local beautician the tint lasts ages.

I bought the same brand of stuff to do at home and it doesn't last as long. Anyone know why?

I even leave it on longer than she does. I have had them professionally tinted elsewhere before that haven't lasted any longer than my home attempts. So it must be something special this woman does but I am loath to ask her!

Does she use a different developer maybe?

Maybe..? Could that make a difference then?

I don't know @ratussbaguss , I don't really know how it works 😂 I would guess it could make it more or less permanent though?

I use the same hair dye I use on my head ,been doing it for years never had an issue and the colour lasts.

Are you cleansing your brows and drying them before applying tint?

Leave it on a bit longer? Really coat the hairs - back and forth and up and down. That's what I've just done and am hopeful.

Yeah I cleanse them and leave it on ages! Maybe I just got to ask her...

Is there any oil in your cleanser? You want them squeaky clean!
