Hi

Have mild what I think is possibly rosacea( red some times bumpy on cheeks but never turns in to spots and can get dry).

Used to wear makeup all the time but have not for a long time need to get a foundation but don't want to aggravate my skin so any recommendations that can pick up in store as don't have time to order ?

Try Lancôme teint miracle or CYO

Doublewear by Estée Lauder is good for rosacea. I read up on it all too.

What happens with testers these days? Or can you send off for samples?

They will give you testers at the counter but can’t colour match on your skin

I have the same skin type. I have found the CYO Lifeproof foundation brilliant, but sadly is is discontinued. After a long, long time trying different products, I am about to purchase NARS Radiant Longwear (I think its called that). It isn't as perfect, but I'm not allergic to it. You need to avoid fragrance most importantly, so mineral powder foundations are useful - I used Lily Lolo for years, but feel my skin is a bit too old for it now.

Have a look at Rosealique, I swear by it it’s a game changer for me, I don’t bother with foundation anymore using this. However some have said it is too dark for really fair skin but you can order a sample sachet for free which lasts ages.
