I need an overhaul.....help?!

So, for the past few years I've not looked after myself as much as I should. Everything has gone south. I'm carrying more weight than I would like and my clothes are all make do rather than me getting any joy from wearing them. I used to look so put together with some effort and now I just don't even have the basics to manage it so I'm beginning an overhaul where I place more value and focus on me.

I've decided to start from the inside out. Got a nice body moisturiser to feel good from the shower and a hair cut/colour in the pipeline. I used to really enjoy matching my underwear. Not necessarily sets but same colour, at least. All my underwear is scabby and I'm rotating 2 bras that don't fit! I used to have a La Senza bra that I loved and had in various colours. I want to get back to that place.

Can you give me your best pants and underwear recommendations for comfort and style so that I have a starter for 10. Small, steady steps win the race. Once I'm happy with underwear, I'll move on to revamping the wardrobe.

Thanks.

(I'm no longer delaying buying anything new because "I'm going to lose weight, it'll be a waste of money!")

Start with a bra fitting in m and s - they do some gorgeous sets.

What size are you roughly? My favourite bra shop is Curvy Kate but it's D+

Saying that, I was pleasantly surprised by Boux Avenue recently

Thanks for comments both. I've just found out about a method called boob or bust .... I'm definitely over a D cup. I think I'll see what I can pick up in the sales and have a look at both sites. I have a voucher for M&S so that'll be kind on the purse.

I actually really like Primark for every day nice underwear- they fit me really well and often have matching sets for £5-10, as well as packs of three bras with co ordinating pants. They have a D-F range and you can try on.
Sainsbury's also good.
Can I also recommend treating yourself to some nice pyjamas? I am a tiny bit further along than you with my overhaul and lovely PJ's have made a difference Flowers

Yes! Nightwear. I'm currently searching for night dresses. I want soft, soft cotton but not like the older style that I remember my nana wearing.
