I know this gets asked a lot but… Desperately looking for foundation for pale skin!

Hi, I usually use Garnier BB cream (light) but following a skin condition I’m looking for slightly more coverage.

I’ve searched previous threads but couldn’t really find an answer. I have pale combination (slightly dry, slightly oily in places) skin. As in: really quite pale. Hyperpigmentation in places.

I don’t like that very “matte” look and prefer something dewy/glowy if that makes sense.

I once tried EL double wear but found it quite matte? Though maybe I tried the wrong shade.

I can’t really go to large department stores at the moment but I do have a Boots nearby. Happy to spend upto £30.

Would be really grateful for any tips🙂

@BunniesBunniesBunnies oh that's fab! It's such a lovely foundation

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser

Stuff of the gods. Glowy and good coverage - like a light foundation.

Bit late to the party, but I always thought I was really pale..... when I finally got assessed properly I was much darker than I thought. Sorry if I'm trying to teach you to suck eggs, but worth double checking what shade is best for you.

@Hadtochangebutnoideas

Fenty Beauty has given me the best colour match (and I’ve tried loads!) It’s usually available in larger boots stores.
I agree. Good range of shades/tones

Dior no 10 shade. My very white DD uses it. It's perfect.

Ditto this.

I think your eyes look amazing. I wish I could do that!

Boots have introduced a lovely stick foundation in their No7 range. I bought the really pale one, Creme, perfect, very pale. I’m usually a Bare Minerals Fair which is their palest shade, which I still like

I'm pale and freckly and 41 and use boots foundation either tinted moisturiser or the other foundations (not the matte one) and I mix in a little moisturiser.

I also use under eye concealer and use it in nose also. Use powder too.

I find very light touch Botox with a tiny amount of filler in nasal lines is best way for me to get good skin so don't spend too much on makeup now

Meant to say I use shad calico as got it matched in boots
