Boots that don’t make my feet look massive

I’m 5ft 1 and slim with size 5 feet, so by rights I shouldn’t have a problem. BUT every pair of flat ankle boots I put on make my feet look disproportionately big.
I want some boots for running around / walking the dog etc so something sturdy and good for bad weather but where for the lobe of god are they ?
I’ve tried a pair of heavenly soles and a pair of blundstones this morning and I look like a golf club.

I don't think anyone will be looking at your feet as closely as you think!

I have a similar problem, but with different measurements. I am a slim 5'8", with wide size 8 feet. If I wear anything other than long boots, or shorter boots with wide trousers, I look like a frogman. Skinny jeans were only ever ok on me with long boots, and I never wear ankle boots with skirts.

You need to decide either that no one is really going to scrutinise your feet, or do as I do!

At least u aren't 5'7 with size 8 feet..... all boots make me look stompy.

I used to feel the same, but just Google a few images of chunky Chelsea boots and you'll see that we're the height of fashion now!

Wear trousers that are the same colour as the boots.
