Best facial wipes

I’m a lazy mare and don’t have a skincare routine. Will use a Nice cleansing balm for my evening shower but rely on facial wipes to spruce myself up in the morning.

I have been using the say yes to grapefruit vitamin c wipes which have been really lovely and cleansing, but just wondering if there is a holy grail of facial wipes out there?

It’s not very environmentally friendly but I’m time pressed and trying to get out the house without vomiting down my front- temporary measure

Surely a hot cloth cleanser would be just as quick and easy? Failing that the bamboo washable pads are great. Please don’t use disposable wipes.

All you need in the morning is a quick slick of cleansing balm and a brisk rub down with a hot damp flannel if you’ve cleansed your face thoroughly the evening before. Takes just as much time as using wipes. Which as you know are a - economically wasteful and b - environmentally very unfriendly.

I love my bamboo washable cloths. I think my skin is better too. Hot water and a rub for most of my face and Hydromol on my eyes wiped off with a cloth and warm water. I wouldn’t go back to wipes again now.

Wipes do not cleanse your face. Use a cleanser. Double cleanse preferably. Wipes are useless.

JustLikea · 12/12/2021 20:57

I use a flannel with warm water or micellar water and a cotton pad

Washable wipes are just as quick and much better for skin and environment.

They are cheap, so you can afford to have a few and keep a stack in the bathroom.

Bamboo flannels/face pads!

I used to use throw away wipes, but bought some bamboo face pads from Amazon - come with a little bag to wash them with.

Please don't use wipes. They are crap, honestly! The Clean Beauty Club do an amazing balm that removes everything including your eye make up perfectly. I swear by it now 👍🏽

I swear by microfibre cloths (big packs from the pound shop) - fresh one every day and they go in with the household laundry

I use facecloths. Cheap as chips in Asda. Look lovely folded in the bathroom. I have two, colours so one colour can go in the dark washing and one in the light washing.

Just some toner on a bit of cotton wool/makeup remover pad works fine for me in the mornings. I haven’t used wipes in years as I never felt clean with them
