Party Tights

Assuming the work Xmas party goes ahead, I’ve decided I’ll feel more confident wearing tights.

I’m mid fifties, Caucasian, have a knee length red velvet dress and black open toe shoes.

Any suggestions for party tights to elevate my outfit without looking frumpy? I thought maybe something shimmery or sparkly that don’t ladder or snag too easily.
