I need a coat for this weather!

I got soaked today wearing what I thought was a waterproof coat. I really could do with some recommendations for coats for this weather (rain and cold).

Lighthouse are waterproof and warm but I find mine quite mumsy

It's not sexy but the best coat I had was a Craghoppers insulated waterproof like this. Currently only £75 so a lot cheaper than some others.

I have a Didriksons kneelength parka with a poppered-on hood. It's very warm and completely waterproof in the worst Dartmoor weather, and I think it looks okay, but I've had it two or three years so it may not be current. I would recommend it highly.
