Pearl jewellery

DH and I are approaching our 30th wedding anniversary soon which is traditionally symbolised with pearl. I am looking into pearl Jewellery which isn't what I would usually go for as I think it can be a bit old fashioned. I am wavering between embracing my inner queen mother and looking for something vintage or something more modern.
Can anyone recommend any modern brands?
Budget is £200 max.

I’ve got a leather and pearl wrap necklace from Van Peterson - must have had it over 20 years, but they still have similar for a bit of a boho look. They have other non-traditional pearl jewellery too.

Have a look at Olivia and Pearl.

I like Honora Pearls where you can buy from QVC, they do different colours and styles and I've found them decent quality.

Thank you for all these. I can see it's going to be a difficult decision.

This is where my pearl necklace (30th anniversary present) came from. Couldn't fault them. Quality, information, customer service & fair pricing.

This lady does a lot of quirky pearl (and non pearl) jewellery if you're looking for something a bit different.

I just bought a pearl pendant and chain from Monica Vinader and that could be in budget. Might be worth trying Motley - they have had some interesting designs including pearls

For something modern, good quality and with a style pedigree, have a look at Shaun Leane (he designed all the jewellery for Alexander McQueen). There are some pearl rings and necklaces just within your budget.

I adore pearls but they're usually either end of the 'frumpy -> cheap' spectrum of jewellery design, so will shamelessly plunder the thread!

Dinny Hall.
