Grenson Nanette

Hi everyone

I just bought a pair and I’m not used to an ankle boot coming so high up my leg. They felt a little restrictive when walking down the stairs and I’m wondering whether they’ll rub if I wear them all day. In your experience will the leather soften and mould to my ankle/leg, as I break them in? Thanks.

Mine have never rubbed, the leather is very soft. Are they normal length Nannettes (I know Grenson do a couple of mid-calf designs)? Mine only go a little way over my ankle bone, which is where ankle boots / dms would come to.

Thanks, the leather is soft but I’m not really used to wearing anything other than Chelsea boots which sit much lower on my ankle. It might also be because they are tied quite a bit tighter than a pull-on boot which I’m also not used to. They are definitely the normal length Nanettes, it’s the new all black colour way. I love them on other people and just trying to figure out if they work for me too!
