Does anyone had a shag cut?

Especially anyone with type 1b hair

My hair is medium weight 1b, heavily highlighted and collar bone length. It has grown from pixie to bob during lockdown and Is now at the length where it is very tempting to tie it back. As I spend all day on Teams with a headset on this looks shit!

What are the practical considerations I need to be aware of? How hard is it to style? What should I do fringe wise?

You need a good stylist who will cut your hair so that it naturally falls into the style. It won't necessarily be an expensive salon.

I've had shag cuts and most were fine but they tended to be shorter than I wanted when cut.

I had some bad cuts and the hair was awful until the layers grew long enough to have it cut properly

My hair is wavy
