Shop name on Regent Street? Hand cream, biscuits, tea NOT Whittards

I need to buy some generic Christmas gifts. There was a shop on Regent Street which sold yummy biscuits and tea and hand cream. Soaps as well I think. I can’t find it! What was it called? Has it closed down? I’m sure it was a chain. Has an “&” in the middle and I think the other words began with “C” and “L” - maybe!

Not l'occitaine?

FrownsAndDimples · 04/12/2021 19:57

Could it be L'Occitane? No & and doesn't do tea though.

Crabtree & Evelyn?

Crabtree and Evelyn?

Crabtree and Evelyn. They used to sell biscuits and tea etc.

I've just looked and they appear to still exist as an online only concern.

I used to be a big fan of their hand cream but use l'occitane these days (healthcare professional so my hands get trashed in the winter with a combination of cold and constant hand washing).

YES Crabtree & Evelyn. Thank you. Yeah they don’t sell biscuits and tea anymore. Look a bit different. A shame, they were good fancy but not pricey gifts in pretty packaging that were always appreciated.

Lakeland have similar pretty tins of biscuits and M&S have them.
Lakeland stock Grandma Wild’s cookies. grandmawilds.co.uk/product-category/gifting-packs/
L’Occitane hand cream is excellent - TK Maxx is worth a look too.

Thank you for the recommendation @mrssmiling. I’ve already bought money wallet cards today from Paperchase and will be giving cash. Not ideal, but it is what it is.

Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly (bottom of Regent St) do biscuits and tea in lovely tins, not too expensive for gifts.
