mascara recommendations...

I've been told that my eyelashes are short (I agree), does anybody have any tips on a good mascara? I seem to end up with clumpy lashes when I've used it in the past. Many thanks:)

I've got short lashes, Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk mascara is great, it's about £25.
When I go out I use younique 3d fibre lash, it has two tubes, one are fibres and one is the sealant.
Put a slick of sealant on then the fibres then the sealant, I finish off with a coat of my own mascara to make sure the fibres are really sealed. It's great if you want dramatic lashes on a night out.
Ebay sells it for under a tenner.

Maybelline lash sensational. Best Ive ever used.

They're Real by Benefit lengthens mine the most, BUT what's really worked is Revitaliash. I'd recommend a growth serum if you want to make the actual hairs longer. I was super sceptical but I'd say they're a good third longer than they were when I use it nightly.

Depends on your budget but This x 1000! I have short lashes too and I've tried almost all 🤦🏻‍♀️ This hands down best.

I used to love ysl faux cils but it started to leave a smudge under my eye so I had to leave it.

Lancôme are always good but these days I use a really cheapie Essence one and I find it great. Also agree re. Maybelline

Sky high by Maybelline is what I recommend, best mascara I have ever used.

My favourite is Clinique High Definition- especially if you want to avoid clumping. It doesn’t give a false lash effect but it does really lengthen and doesn’t clump. (Weirdly I find it gets better after the first few uses).

I never use mascara on my bottom lashes so no idea about smudging

Clinique lash power, I've tried them all and this is the one I return to time and time again.

Must be down to the shape of your eyes/face and greasiness of skin etc as I can manage to smudge from my top lashes.

That’s why no smudging is a selling point on mascara. Not many people wear it on their bottom lashes.

After applying mascara, I always scrunch up my eyes (like a really happy child) and any residue I will take off from my upper and lower eyelids and then I know what is left will stay on my lashes.
I don't know if anyone else does that after applying mascara....do you?

6 months ago I would have said Maybelline Lash Sensational...but Maybelline Sky High is like actual magic in a tube. It makes every lash seem extra long but is sooo delicate and NEVER clumps. And I am the kind of person that will wash off & start again if it's not absolutely perfect.

I am far more passionate about this than I realised....

Do you use eyelash curlers ? They work wonders on short straight eyelashes .................now you need a thread about Holy Grail Eyelash Curlers

I dont wear mascara often but if I do , I'll use my trusty old (very old) BodyShop curlers first . I;ve tried alll kinds from Shu Umeru to Boots .

YY to Revitalash ( I buy it for my DD , she has amazing eyelahes anyway but this makes them epic)
Weirdly Revitalash had the shittest eyelash curlers I've ever used in one kit I bought !

I'll only ever buy a mascara that is sealed - no way do I want one that might've been opened and air-pumped who knows how long ago .

Sky high or lash sensational maybelline. Tried so many and always go back

Either Essence Lash Princess false lash effect or Maybelline Sky High are my absolute favourites - I must have tried hundreds and they are both brilliant! Also I use Revitalash nightly and it's amazing stuff.
