Benefit They're Real Tinted Lash Primer - questions

Anyone know the answers to my questions about this product?

Does it come in different colours or just mink brown? And what colour is mink brown - any good for black lashes?

Reviews suggest it can be used alone without mascara. So is it just mascara?

Is it worth buying to make my lashes appear thicker; to make my eyes 'pop'?

Would love to hear your views on this product before I spend approx £20 on it.

I use this primer. I’m not sure if it comes in different colours. The mink brown is dark brown, I have black lashes and it looks less striking than black when applied.

I wouldn’t use mascara without it, I have such straight and fine lashes and it makes a huge difference to them.

I’ve only ever used it under black mascara but when applied my lashes do look good, more subtle than with the mascara on top. But they look longer and more defined.

Interesting! I haven’t heard of this before. I can no longer wear mascara (I have tried lots, including those for sensitive eyes), as I find it uncomfortable. Is this primer lighter than mascara? I wonder if it would be worth me trying it?

@AnnieSnap Yes it’s much lighter than mascara, you don’t get that heavy, crispy, uncomfortable feel to the lashes. Not sure how it would wear though, although I’m sure they say it can be worn on its own.

Thanks @Everley I’ll have a look.

I often wear this on it's own during the day as it's very soft and natural while still making my eyelashes look long and fluffy - I'm not quite sure what makes it a primer rather than just another mascara, but I would really miss it if it went (as have so many other Benefit products I liked).

I don't wear black mascara, but I do have dark brown and burgundy and I've used it under both with good results - it's well worth the extra couple of minutes IMO Smile.
