What to wear over black jumpsuit to keep warm?

Hi.

Fingers crossed I have a Christmas party in a couple of weeks. The only thing in my wardrobe that fits is a comfy wide leg black short sleeve jumpsuit.

I am short and a size 16ish. Thinking maybe a sequin blazer maybe? Or I already have a smart camel trench coat I could wear.

But I'll freeze without something. Any ideas?

@QueenFool i’m thinking of getting a jumpsuit for my party as I think it’s something I’m likely to vet more wear out of. I’m 5’3 - is this one quite long or do you think it would be ok? Also what shoes do you wear with it? I’m hopeless at putting outfits together!

Mine isn't the same one as the link. But similar. It's an old one from Boohoo. I'll try and find it.

I actually don't know what looks good, I'm awful at putting an outfit together. But I'm just putting on black heels or shoeboots with it, as I already have them

I bought a velvet cape from phase 8 which I kind of love to go with a jump suit

I always wear a leather jacket with my black jumpsuit. A sequin jacket would also look nice and more festive!

A tuxedo jacket, and a big wool scarf for getting there and home again.

I have exactly the same dilemma and have plumped for a black velvet jacket. I have two, one boxy and the other fitted at the waist.
