Dr Martin's or alternative?

Please please help

I want some boots - feed up of cold feet. Normally live in vans / converse but would love some boots to wear with my L&Y dungs / dresses and tights. But not sure what?

Need to order online too as can't go out to nearest Dr M shop is hour drive.

Are these the "original" type I need?

If you want warm feet then get the fur lined ones! I adore mine and I’ve never had a problem needing to break them in. They’re really snug.

I have the second ones and love them. But I wouldn't say they are super warm. Go for the fur lined ones instead.

In that case, go for either and wear warm socks

Second ones with dm socks or any thick socks when it's cold. I love mine, wear them year round

The second ones with thick socks. I have sinclairs in what looks like the same leather and they are really soft around the top especially so don’t rub your leg. First ones have a seam there, I’m 90% sure the second ones don’t
But also, have a look at the sinclairs in the soft textured leather

Yes they don't rub on top. I'm a 3 and went for 3 and they fit well but I have had to put insoles in them but I have slim feet. If your feet are regular then I'd say they're true to size.

Just to be awkward, i prefer Blundstones. I have been wearing all black ones for about 25 years, but recently got black with blue sides. I wear them pretty much constantly, they go with everything. Always very comfy, box fresh.

Size down
The half size means “wide”.
So I am normally an 8, with wide feet. Blundstone 7.5 fits perfectly.
Each pair lasts about 5 years.

Pascals are softish and shouldn't need breaking in.

They are slightly more expensive than DMs but they are hardwearing and much better quality
