It looks buttery soft and fairly unique, i dont like designer stuff much or obvious brand logos. But i do want a bag that wont date much and will last.
Im not into very contemporary styles and most bags i can wear across body as well as on shoulder are either huge or tiny.
It is the exact right size and style for me, but im wondering what you lot think of it?

It is expensive (just over £500), and i am to choose something in this region as a special gift. No idea what to do as this is a lot of money!
The purse on the front it detachable via two saddle type hooks.

It's quite fussy and dated, sorry OP.

Have a look at Mimi Berry bags - beautifully made (in England), won't date and reasonably priced. I have a few and they're gorgeous.

I think it’s quite nice but I don’t like it when straps are joined onto bags with those metal bits. Not sure why, it just always cheapens bags in my opinion. Maybe I’m alone in this, but that alone puts me off the bag.
I do like the look of the leather though, and the shape of the body of the bag.

Too much going on for me personally, but I'm trying to be objective when I say I don't think it's a classic style. But if you love it then go for it.

chatw0o0 · 01/12/2021 03:35

I don't think it's a classic style, and personally I don't like the hardware (too many buckle bits).

But the leather looks nice. If you like it, go for it!

DedalusBloom · 01/12/2021 06:25

It's not for me. It looks like the longer strap has been cobbled on afterwards and the buckles don't match.

Notcontent · 01/12/2021 13:31

I would have loved that bag a few years ago - but not so much now. I really love those Mimi Berry bags someone else mentioned. But if you love it, then get it.

BusterGonad · 01/12/2021 13:46

To me it looks like a cheaper bag trying to look expensive, it's not classic looking either.

Yes that's it.
Daisy829 · 01/12/2021 13:54

The only thing I would say is that the strap looks quite thin and if you fill the bag will it be uncomfortable to carry if it’s heavy although you could get a guitar strap to go on it.

CrimbleCrumble1 · 01/12/2021 13:56

I like it and would use it a lot.

nitsandwormsdodger · 01/12/2021 13:57

I hate it
Old fashioned and frumpy
Not unique at all
Would never look at it and think it was that expensive
Sorry but you did ask
You should still get it ( in the sale) if you love it

FriendWoes111 · 01/12/2021 13:58

I dont like that the hardware is brass and not silver.

I like the bag but think it already feels a bit dated

Sexnotgender · 01/12/2021 13:58

It’s really not my thing and I’m absolutely not averse to spending ££ on bags.

It’s a bit fussy and cheap looking in my opinion.

Haha, calm yourself, you sound so stressed, i'm cool Grin

And thanks everyone, i decided on a different bag, less expensive but more 'me' from Toast. I hadnt even heard of the Dior bag, but yeh, a touch too fussy. Lovely looking leather though.

I like that the fittings are brass and would not want silver or gold colour fittings.
I have a Toast bag that was made by Weald

Which bag did you get? Please post a link/picture.
