What jewellery?

Help please.., Christmas brunch on Saturday, and I'm wearing a wine coloured, pleated maxi, with black turtle neck short sleeved top, and black boots - what colour of jewellery should I wear? (If it makes a difference, I'll be wearing a biker jacket too). Thanks!

I think gold would go really well with wine and black.

Tonally, I think gold would work better with with you've described

PolaDeVeboise · 29/11/2021 14:56

Thanks both- that was my first thought, but wasn't sure if gold went well with a biker jacket.

I would go for silver. Esp with a biker jacket. Maybe depends on your colouring which of those you suit also. If you're warm toned then gold is better.

I would also go with silver but I don't suit gold so I'm biased. I'm also thinking that your biker jacket probably has silver hardware?

Gold, but it does really depend on your skin tone. Do you normally wear gold or silver?

PolaDeVeboise · 01/12/2021 20:46

I just think silver wouldn't go with the wine coloured skirt. My biker jacket has pewter coloured hardware. I normally wear silver.

I'm one of those people who never mixes metals for jewellery. I switched completely from gold to silver (sterling or white gold) about 20 years ago. So whether my choice of metal colour goes with a clothing colour is a non-issue for me as there is no choice.
I can't see that silver wouldn't go with the colour wine (especially on the lower half of your body). If it is an issue for you, wear gold.
