Question about glycolic acid

I have been using glycolic acid for a number of years, mainly the serum by Nip & Fab (4%) or the wipes (5%). I recently started using their max glo liquid which is 6%. I used it 2 nights ago and whilst yesterday my skin was fine, today I've seen peeling skin all over my face as I tried to apply my make up.

Does anyone know how best to deal with this? Ie should I a) stop all exfoliation and moisturise extensively for a few days or b) continue with the 6% and use it again tonight to get rid of the peeling and get my skin used to it?

It's too strong for you, I'd drop back down If it's making your skin peel off.
If you want to stick with it and use it again to try and get used to - it start with once a week only.
Make sure you're wearing sun screen too!

I had a similar thing with a retinol and my skin never got used to it - just exposed me to more sun damage I imagine
