Those thick, towel-like, spa style dressing gowns

I have decided this is what I want for Christmas but cannot find a decent dressing gown online.

I want one of those heavy, towel-like, pure white robes. I stayed at a luxury resort and they had them in the wardrobe and I've been wanting one since then...

Any ideas or anyone have any similar? I don't mind spending a bit on it if it's what I'm searching for...

Thanks Grin

Have you tried The White Co? Might be worth a look.

Would these fit the bill?

Ahh it's sold out :(

Any others?

I bought mine years ago from Debenhams but from the mens range as , for some bizarre reason, retailers seems to think that women just want fluffy, sparkly, pink etc so didn't have any in the womens section.

My Dunham bathrobe is 7 years old now, I purchased the Bliss Waffle this year.

Don't get a white company one - I got one for Xmas thinking it would be luxury. It has shed and clicked so much just from going through the wash!

I've a chunky grey heavy towelling one from M&S, very hard to find anything towelling as all seem to be polyester fleece these days. Here but in blue ...

Mine is from the White Company. It snags easily but it is deeply fluffy. Weighs a ton though.

It’s zero twist / low twist cotton you want to look for - very soft and snuggly. The White Company one snags but we also have John Lewis version which seems more durable albeit fractionally less drapey.
