Opalescence

I’ve used 8 syringes of opalescence 35% for teeth whitening and my teeth look white at the bottom but towards the gum base they are still yellow? I’m really disappointed with the results. I have teeth trays already but bought my product from the USA as it’s way cheaper than the dentist. Surely using 8 syringes I should have good results? My teeth weren’t bad to begin with just abit yellow but very clean and no issues.

The bleach syringes can degrade if they’re not kept in the fridge. They also have a use by date.

If your gums have receded at all, it exposes the darker, yellower looking root of your tooth along the gum line.
I whiten my teeth regularly and have this exact issue with one due to slight recession on that tooth.
I spoke to my dentist and even with repeated bleaching, it will never lighten as much as the rest of the tooth. Might be worth discussing with them?
