Christmas work do outfit

So , I'm in need of some inspiration. I've got a Christmas dinner with work in 3 weeks and I don't know what to wear... I have got a jumpsuit that I bought in the sale during the first lockdown and I have never worn, but its sleeveless so I'm scared I'll be cold during the dinner. What is everybody wearing for their Christmas parties?

I'm thinking of a designing skirt and velvet jacket but need to try on.

I bought a leather pencil skirt from M&Co to wear with ankle slouch black suede boots (la redoute).

I was going to team with a Hobbs purple velvet cowl neck top but I think I'm going to be a bit cold so may team the skirt with a silk shirt or chenille jumper.

I also bought a black top with gold sparkles and a grape high neck top as fall back options. Both new look, both sleeveless so may be too cold!

Frankly I'm also bookmarking for ideas 😅😅

I bought a midi pinafore style dress from cos that I’m planning to wear with something underneath - I’ve ordered a dark red silk long t shirt like top but also have other options in my wardrobe. I am also worried about being cold so will wear ankle length boots that are on the taller side so can wear socks too. I’m not looking forward to the bare legs but will deal with it!

Lol I’m aware my outfit is not the most glamorous but a Christmas party but mine is a lunch where I’ll need to work in the outfit before it, and afterwards, so hence the toned down-ness

Ours is a lunch at a smartish restaurant. I’m wearing a long sleeve knitted dress with sequins around the neckline. I got it from crew a couple of years ago. I will wear black suede knee length boots with it.

I ordered this in both colours. There was a dusty pink on the website but can't find it now

Mine is a Christmas lunch not dinner so wanted something a bit sombre which I could jazz up with nice accessories. Potentially I could also continue wearing the dress past the festive season. But the way things are going with the new variant, don't reckon the lunch will go ahead
