Sweaty Betty thermal leggings

Sorry again a very specific thread does anyone have the SB thermal leggings? Even with 25% off they are still £71 and seem to have mixed reviews but because of this freezing weather I keep eyeing them up even though I am trying not to!

I got some thermal leggings from decathlon for a fraction of that price and I really rate them. They are soft and fleecy and don't seem to get too sweaty. I wear them for fell running or cycling in the cold and they've been really good.

I have them and really love them! I’ve worn them loads. They are comfortable and keep their shape. I’m not sure they are the warmest you can get but that’s useful to me as you’re not too hot when you come in after a chilly walk :)

Decathlon ones are wonderful - easily as good performance at a fraction of the price.

Best ever though are the even more expensive Wind Defence running tights by 2XU (wore them for a Half Marathon the same week as the Beast the East, and they were up to the task)

I've got two pairs and love them, a running friend recommended them years ago so I treated myself with 25% off, then I got the 7/8 version in the sale a few months ago. Somebody said on here that as they're quite long, 7/8 was practically full length for shorter people (and they were right, works fine for me at 5'4").

I haven't tried the Decathlon ones for comparison though.

I bought some in the Black Friday deal and wore them yesterday. I love them. Very warm and fit well. I got the dark green ones to make a change from black.

I just took delivery of a pair of ASICS winter running tights from Sportsshoes.com. The full price was around £120. They have thicker areas on the front of the thigh & shin. I’m sending them back, they are weirdly baggy around the crotch and I think I’d end up with a cold bum. I’ll send them back today. I ran for 80 minutes in my SB fleece lined leggings yesterday in the snow & was fine. When I got home I ordered another thick top from SB, I was warm enough in that with a vest underneath. It wasn’t a fast run as there was too much black ice to run on the roads so I had to go on trails.

Thanks

No SB but I wear these for HIIT 4 x a week outside. They never fall down nicely water resistant with some compression. Someone on here recommended them and they are brilliant.
