Docs 6 vs 8 eyelet

Just that really. I tried on 6 eyelight 101s in store. I loved them. The only thing is I'm tempted by Pascal leather which is only in the 1460s 8 eyelet and looks soft.
I want to wear them with dresses predominantly but maybe jeggings the odd time.
Am I better with the 6 or 8 eyelet, smooth or pascal leather?
My only definite is I want leather not vegan.
Any thoughts on what is a better buy or more comfortable? Thanks

I couldn't try the 8 eyelet on at the time. I asked for a pair and got another 6 eyelet but Bex so I didn't want to stress out the guy, he appeared to be new so I just left it. I'll be getting these for Christmas so Mr Boots shoes will get whichever I want online.

I have three pairs of 8 eye Pascals and they're the comfiest things ever! The softer the leather the easier the break (Nappa, Virginia, suede, Wanama), my iridescent leather pair are my favourite shoes ever and were instantly confy. The other two pairs are vegan because they're glittery, and I love them but they don't wear so well looks wise.

The pascals/1460/8 eyes in the softer leathers are cut rather than stitched around the ankle and that definitely makes a difference to comfort for me.

Succumbed to black Friday and ordered a pair of wanama leather 10 eyes yesterday so hoping they will be just as comfy :)

Not tried a 6 eye but the smooth leather is the hardest to break, but wears into your own mould in time.

Thank you so much. I actually saw those 10eyes on sale. They are probably a bit higher than I'd like but they are class.
I might go the 8 eye Pascal then. Comfortable is exactly my favourite style 😊

8 hole pascal are the comfiest thing in the world. I live in mine.
