Going out shoes

I'm excited to have a couple of Christmas nights out coming up: meals in a restaurant followed by a pub.
I'll be wearing a midi dress but am really unsure about footwear.
Options are:
black ankle boots, a pair that I usually wear to work which has a bit of a yoghurt pot heel.
Flatter Chelsea style boot ( very casual looking)
Black Mary- Jane style shoe with mid heel ( frumpy I think)
Similar but silver/ leopard skin pattern
Black trainers
I also have a green suede ankle boot with yoghurt pot heel but think if I'm in black tights they'll cut my leg off in an unflattering way

Or I could buy something else

I'd really appreciate some help.

I'm mid 50s and not a fashionista but really love clothes and try to look reasonable!

I do not know what a yoghurt pot heel is! But, these all sound fine but not exciting. Although I encourage people to wear what they have maybe a new pair would be good? Mint velvet have a good 'going out' range and they have Black Friday

Sooverthemill Yoghurt pot is a chunky mid heel. I use it when the heel has a bit of an angle to it too.

Thanks, I'll look at Mint Velvet
