Is Hush overpriced?

Just bought a skirt and jumper, £198 for 2 items! I have bought from them before, quality ok but wonder if it justifies the price? Would never buy jewellery from there as previously that definitely didn't, looked cheap and tacky. I only like some of their stuff but do like the jumpers and skirts, can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative?

Probably but yet I keep going back for more. It’s generally very easy to wear so it can be appealing but I have to be firm with myself about loving something to keep it.
Cheaper or better quality alternatives for me are:
Cos
Arket
Uniqlo
But if you want the more fun rainbow stuff then I’m not sure, I hear good things about scamp and dude though

It depends. I have some stuff from Hush that is great quality and some that isn't. They have refunded the price of two t shirts that got holes in after a couple of washes where I followed the guidance on the care label!

I think they are overpriced for the quality. I used to buy quite a bit from Hush but they don't wash or wear very well.

I do think it is overpriced for the quality, out of the 4 items I bought from them, one shrank even though I followed the washing instructions to the letter, so that a knee length shirt dress is now just a longish ( thigh length) shirt. The jumper I bought at the beginning of lockdown ( so didn't get to wear it much as it's a going out sort of jumper) looks like a bobbly faded dishrag ( only washed it once or twice). The joggers are still in good condition 3 years down the line, as is a cotton sweatshirt.
If you stick to the cotton stuff you'll probably be ok.

MissLucyEyelesbarrow · 25/11/2021 18:49

Agree that the quality is generally awful, so their stuff is poor value for money and bad environmentally. There are some exceptions - I have a cotton jacket that's well-made - but not many. I've stopped buying from them after too many purchases that looked good the first time I wore them, but like an old rag after the first wash.

Definitely overpriced. Nothing I have ever bought from there has washed well either, despite following the washing instructions. I'm not buying anything from there again.
