DS2 has always worn orthopaedic boots/ AFOs (leg splints) for his mild disability. Now an adult he refuses to wear his splints and the orthotist has agreed to try molded supports in 'normal ' boots.
He needs all black, reasonably high boots with enough depth for the supports inside. I was thinking DMs but I also know they often trash the heels breaking in and as he also has autism and a very high pain threshold that's not ideal as he will not notice if his feet are raw .
Any suggestions? (DH is no help as he lives in trainers, safety shoes or crocs!!!)
