Would pink shoes with navy tights look silly?

The dress is navy with a foreground pattern of pink flowers.

It's for evening drinks.

I think we need a picture because in my head I see this

I don't like the sound of it, but I'm not a fan of matching shoes to outfits in general...

I quite like that photo! As long as they're dark it might look ok otherwise you might be straying into smurfette territory. I recall a comedian once said coloured tights can make you look like a teacher at gnome school so you do need to be careful! It'd be great to see the dress in question.

Yes, I think a pink and navy dress with navy tights and pink shoes would look silly. Why so matchy matchy? If it's a midi dress, long dark brown boots would be much nicer. If it's a short dress, black tights and black ankle boots would be fine.
