Need a smart looking black scarf

As above. I have an autumnal- looking black maxi dress and really need a smart/possibly posh/expensive if need be to wear with it. Obviously with a coat (which I already have). I have really sensitive skin so would appreciate feedback from anyone who knows of fabrics not likely to irritate. If it looked expensive that would be a bonus as am trying to impress people easily impressed by these things! (Yes, I know it all sounds v shallow but it's a one off, and any constructive feedback would be welcome!) TIA

You haven't stated your budget but if you want good quality, I'd go with a cashmere scarf from Begg & Co. I find lambswool irritates my skin but cashmere doesn't.

You can even get it monogrammed.

I'll pay up to £100, sorry, forgot that! Thank you

Ooh £200+ is a bit much for a day out. And I doubt they'd appreciate it, so money wasted. Unless it was the softest most least likey to cause a rash scarf ever....in which case I'd buy it! Lol
