How can I wear this dress

During the day?

I like it but not sure how to wear it for casual wear (can it be worn casually?!) I'm nor a fan of chunky sole boots but I do have some nice block heel leather ankle boots I think will work? Do I wear a fluffy jumper/cardigan with it?

Chunky sole boots, DMs or chunky trainers could all work. You could also add a fur gilet, or satin-type bomber jacket, or smarter wool coat with a blanket scarf.

I dont like chunky shoes, they don't suit me and I don't like the look of them.

I think it's more of a dressy dress than a day dress tbh, due to the fabric.

But if you were really keen to wear it for some reason, you would need to cover that sheer panel in order not to freeze! I'd wear with a slightly cropped turtle neck jumper, maybe off white if you like the monochrome look, thick tights and boots.

I'm not convinced it can ever look casual for day wear.

I wouldn't wear it in the day due to the sheer panel (assuming you mean it's for work? If not I'll stop clutching my pearls)
However it is a LOVELY dress and block heeled ankle boots would look fab. I'd also wear an oversized chunky cardigan with it.
