Waterproof parka coats

I’m looking for a very waterproof parka coat. I do a lot of dog walking with a very active dog, who cares not one jot for getting wet! I’m sick of coats that say they are waterproof but which will let the rain in after 20 minutes walking in a downpour!
I would like it not to look too much like a sack, not be too bulky but be completely waterproof!
I was looking at this RAB one but wondering if anyone could help me out?! I’m sick of looking and also need it not to be much more pricey than this.

Have you looked at Didriksons? They do fully waterproof coats.

I have a North Face Arctic Parka for walking the dog - been totally waterproof and beautifully warm. On sale in Blacks I think.

The coat you have linked is not a parka which may be where you are struggling in your hunt.

I have always found it to be better to go for a waterproof coat and then layer underneath for warmth.

DM just bought this for exactly the same reasons. It’s fab!
