Anyone tried one of these to help reduce wrinkles from side sleeping? And if so how have you found it?

Silk pillow cases are supposed to help wrinkle wise.

Shadowside · 23/11/2021 15:14

@Mosaic123 Yes, l have a silk pillowcase but it hasn't made any difference unfortunately. I always sleep on one side and the skin is much more wrinkled there so thought l'd try a pillow that made me sleep on my back. They are quite expensive though!

I'm a front and side sleeper and I bought one of those expensive pillows designed to make you sleep on your back, it didn't work for me! It did for the first few nights, but then I guess I got used to the feel of it and started sleeping on my front or side again. Mine was about £65 off Amazon. It might be worth a try if you are a side sleeper as it is very comfortable and sort of supports your forehead while the rest of your face is less squished. I think you'd have to be very persistent in teaching yourself to only sleep on your back though.

@MrsJackPearson Yes, that's what l feared as l am such a persistent sidesleeper, but if this one lifts you cheek away from the pillow it might help. I will have a look on Amazon, thank you.

Sorry, name change there, don't know how that happened!

I’ve got the Sleep Easy one. Excellent. I have it in a silk pillowcase (not the one made for the pillow… it was too snug a fit and made the pillow firmer, somehow).

It smelled funny at four that soon goes.

Shadowside · 23/11/2021 21:42

@TheRussianDoll Thank you that looks good and a reasonable price too.Did you find it easy to get used to sleeping in your back with it?

Yes, very comfy though I still wriggle onto my side 😐

Shadowside · 23/11/2021 22:16

That's what l imagine l will do as it's my default sleeping position. Might be worth a try though to keep the wrinkles at bay!

Just get botox and sleep however you want!

Seaoftroubles · 24/11/2021 08:12

@Theywalkamongstus l did wonder if that might be a better solution!
