Non greasy body lotions

I really need to keep my skin hydrated way more than I do but I find most body moisturisers are so heavy they sit on my skin and I find it uncomfortable, latest two I've tried is an Aveeno one and a Boots Q10, both feel heavy-are there any around that sink in more and don't leave a film? I'm also dry brushing before application hoping this may help.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost spray is nice and non greasy.

Tempusfudgeit · 23/11/2021 21:50

Vaseline Intensive Care. Love it. Non greasy and smells lovely.

RampantIvy · 23/11/2021 23:21

Another vote for Vaseline Intensive Care.

I really like Sanctuary Spa from Boots- it smells divine as well as sinking straight into your skin - totally non greasy.

DirectionToPerfection · 24/11/2021 00:15

Vaseline - the green one. Absorbs straight away.

Body shop body yoghurt is the best

KittyWindbag · 24/11/2021 05:21

I’ve been using an in-shower body moisturiser and it’s a bit of a game changer. I started using it as I live in a humid summer climate so wanted something lightweight. But I also don’t have time for slapping on moisturiser and letting it dry in the morning now the weather is cold. You just slather this on after soaping yourself in the shower, I condition my hair or wash my face for a moment, then let the shower rinse it off. Step out of the shower and feel moisturised but not sticky
And no drying time!

KittyWindbag · 24/11/2021 05:22

Sorry forgot the mention the one I use is Nivea in-shower moisturiser because I like the scent but I think other brands do them too

Godzillaandgodzuki · 24/11/2021 06:33

Thanks all for the suggestions, I'm in town tomorrow so I'll go and browse!

Neutrogena Norwegian.
It's a light, fresh scented lotion, and as I have the skin of an ageing hippo I thought it would never be hydrating enough. It is amazing. £4.99 and I bulk buy now. Sinks in straightaway but really really hydrates. Life's too short to be rubbing thick gloop in that doesn't then even do what it's supposed to!

That one feels too heavy on me. Shame as it smells nice.
JinglingHellsBells · 24/11/2021 09:35

I like the Neurogena one as PP says BUT it does feel sticky for a while IMO.

I have just changed to their Hydraboost (blue bottle) which is nicer IMO.

I also like Garnier Aloe one and it's dirt cheap- something like £2.50 on offer at Boots, half price.

I also bought Sanctuary 'use in the shower ' one but I don't like the smell (damask rose and lily?) and it makes your towels smell as basically you towel off the excess.

ItsSunnyOutside · 24/11/2021 13:41

Another vote for the Vaseline Intensive Care. I use the cocoa butter one.

Crochetandcoffeebreaks · 24/11/2021 13:47

I second the Nivea in shower one, I used to loathe moisturising my body but then a friend of mine introduced me to the sanctuary spa in shower one - total game changer, but a bit lux for my day to day use so I stick to Nivea for that :)

Godzillaandgodzuki · 24/11/2021 16:34

Thanks all, definitely going to try the Nivea in shower one and I like the idea of a spray so will look at those ones too when I'm in Boots.

I love the sanctuary wet skin GEL one. It's a clear tube, has mild exfoliating acids in and smells of watermelon
I don't like the others as they have mineral oil and feel heavier. It's an in shower one so apply when wet
There's some mousse type ones about I've seen which look good, I think one was nivea

Luredbyapomegranate · 25/11/2021 01:49

O’keefes is genius if you have v dry skin, and absorbs pretty fast given how moisturising it is
