Where can I get a makeover..

That doesn't make me look like Bette Davis in Whatever happened to baby Jane.

Realised that as I head towards 50 my hair colour has changed, my skin texture and colouring and I really need to update my makeup bag. Especially a good foundation and a lipstick that actually suits me.

I've had some bad experience before, think overdone in the 90s at the Lancome counter in Debenhams.

Any good suggestions? I quite like MAC products but never had a makeover done there.

My Mum had one done at Bobbi Brown for her 60th and looked lovely. It was all very subtle and not overdone. I think she paid £X for the session and it was redeemable against products.
