Should I buy yet another pink coat

I love this! But I own 3 candy floss pink coats already, a business style one, a 70s style faux fur coat and a rain mac … so this one would be winter weekend casual and I need it right?

Right now I live in my navy maternity coat.

Should I buy yet another pink coat

MoltonSilver
What happens when you tire of pink coats and you're stuck with 4?

One never tires of pink coats dahling. One can never have enough.

GoGoGretaDoll · 22/11/2021 20:48

If you walked past me wearing a pink coat, I would smile. You would make me happy. So I think you should buy the coat. In fact, I think it's your civic duty to do it. Make Greta happy.

(I am the worst at buying-validation posts.)

I have a pink coat...I love it and always get complimented on it.

LadyEloise1 · 22/11/2021 22:36

Thank you @BakeOffRewatch
It's lovely

SassenachWitch · 22/11/2021 22:40

You can never have too many coats, regardless of colour, go for it!!

Where is the one in the top left from? It’s beautiful!

Divebar2021 · 22/11/2021 22:43

Sorry I’m a coat lover but buying a ton of cheap synthetic coats isn’t the best is it? The last cheap coat I got seduced by was from Uniqlo which looked very rough around the edges after one winter. Any chance you could find something similar preloved or buy a fur stole to wear over your pink wool coat? L

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 23/11/2021 09:29

I think if you like pink coats and want to buy synthetic ones that’s fine. Some items are worn for fun rather than seriousness.

And synthetic fibres can be recycled.

coronabeer · 23/11/2021 09:39

Synthetic fabrics can be recycled.

But probably aren't and will just sit in landfill indefinitely.

NiellyNoFive · 23/11/2021 10:33

If you love it and will wear it buy it.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 23/11/2021 10:37

Well all fabrics sit in landfill. But polyester can go in with plastic bottles. It just melts down.

And it’s less harmful to the environment that procuyio. And manufacture of cotton clothing.

Most plastic bottles aren't recycled, either.

I’ve got a fair few pinks coats OP Grin pink wrap, pink parka, pink biker, pink Barbour , pink aviator and that’s what I can think of right now lol. Long as you were then eh? And all your accessories will already go with them. I tend to wear pale grey with pink in the winter. Life’s too short : as long as your not making yourself skint or putting on credit

I am surprised by how popular this thread has become! Just a silly post to save DH the bore of another shopping validation chat Grin

Agree @ambereeree and @GoGoGretaDoll seeing fun clothes makes me smile! @BusySittingDown soulmates! You made me laugh @KissedintheDark and @ArseInTheCoOpWindow!

@OhRosalind the pink of the Lk Bennett one wouldn’t suit me, it would make me look ashen. I need bright tones, whether they’re pastel, pale or strong.

@SassenachWitch Temperley Opus, this one is similar uk.cettire.com/products/msgm-double-breasted-fine-knit-tailored-coat-97914077 Good business coat. Very warm for places with no heating and sitting for long time.
