Teen boy winter footwear

We are fighting the age old battle here with coats and gloves etc. They also all wear flimsy trainers and if it’s raining come home with soaking feet. They will go out for hours at a weekend. Is there such a thing as stylish winter footwear for teen boys? One of them might consider DM boots but the other is firmly in the trainer camp, or at least needs something that looks good with his hoodrich clothes ( which he wants for Christmas ).

No ideas here but in a similar boat so bumping.

My DS13 wears leather trainers so at least they're waterproof. Won't wear a coat though!!

Most of them wear Air Force ones but there's been a shortage of them

My DS constantly refuses to wear his coat but to be fair only half the DC I see walking to school actually wear one at the moment.

The issue with coats at school is that there is nowhere to put them! And schools are often warm, so a pain to carry around. My DSs would always rather wear an extra underneath e.g. white T shirt under shirt to keep warm rather than a coat.

Air force or Air jordans. Not sure my 19 year old or preteen could be persuaded to anything else tbh. At least good quality leather trainers are fairly waterproof.
