DH would love a peacoat like Detective Perez in Shetland or if anyone has a suggestion. He's found one he likes, but it's not in stock. Any others I've found has had something not right...

The JL one posted by @ShesComeUndone is lovely. You could buy buttons separately and change them. It's not too much faff, I did this on a suit for myself once, really lifted the outfit.

Is it the anchor buttons he likes? You just need to Google US Navy Pea coat and there will be loads of army surplus stores selling coats like that. Or you can buy the buttons like SageRosemary suggested and get tbe nicer pea coat!
