but I could do with something better to rejuvenate knitwear... ideas please?

I have similar and it is OK but not as good as a traditional wool piler.

I have this one. Been using it for a year to prepare things for selling. It does a great job and is reliable.

I just use a traditional wool comb not sure what they are called. Bought it from COS a few years ago.
