Help me style these flats

Got given these as a present and do like them but not sure what to wear them with, help.

Black pants, or jeans.
Long sleeve shirt.

I tried them with black but they are navy and don't look right

Navy palazzo pants or a floaty dress would look nice.

Maybe some biscuit coloured wide leg trousers and a white or navy cashmere jumper.

I have these and they are lovely as well as being very comfortable, I'm going to wear them with the m and s wide leg silk burgundy trousers I bought at the same time and a navy or beige cashmere jumper.

Not sure, but I know I’d like some, they’re lovely. I think I’d wear them with skinnies (probably coated ones) and a silk shirt x

I would do a chunky black cardi worn as a top, black denim culottes and these without socks or tights.

@cruffin I'm sorry I'm so crap at links 😬 I've done a couple of screen shots - just type in silk trousers in the m and s website they are honestly to die for.

The silk is really heavy and I won't lie I've just bought the matching co-ord kimono too as well 🤣 but these trousers you can dress up or down as per the model wearing them with a jumper and boots! I find it really hard to find good quality silk but these really are.

I'm 5.5, these are high waisted and they will need taking up on me. I have a lady who does all my trousers as they seem to be made for very tall people they will be well worth it though.

I also bought a silk shirt from m and s today in the exact same shade as the trousers. If I was going to dress the trousers up I'd wear this shirt with them and a lovely leather waist belt that I have.

Can you tell I'm v excited to wear them!? Perhaps not everyone will like the waistband on them as it is elasticated but I am plus size ( 16/18 ) so they are very comfortable for me.

@Wagsandclaws I'm shorter than you I might give them a go! I think M&S have upped their game Ive seen lots I like.

Yes do! I have a long body and short legs ( I have to buy their shorter leg trousers when there is the option in m and s ) so they may well fit you the same way they fit me. They won't need taking up a ridiculous amount just a couple of inches.

Yes m and s have some bloody lovely bits in. I bought 3 pairs of boots from them this season. ( chunky cream, black and brown ) as well as the shoes you have AND i just also bought a fantastic pure silk blue dress with a drawstring waist ( perfect for my apple shape ) the cuffs are a really nice detail on it and I plan to style it in the winter with a black cashmere jumper over the top - lapels out over the v neck black merino wool tights and chunky black boots.

When they do something well they really do. Those shoes you have are so comfortable and with some wide leg trousers ( or even rolled up mom/barrel leg jeans as the poster upthread suggested) they can look a lot more expensive than they were.

Wide leg trousers any colour except black. It's annoying they are navy. They are lovely
