Newcastle - what to wear and where to go

Not been out in years

Any comedy club or night stuff recommendations please?

Beach in day and perhaps fenwicks another day and shopping

Restaurant in evening with some drinks then would like to go on somewhere

El torero is fab for tapas. Second tynemouth, beamish and the Newcastle museums.

Theres a comedy club, the stand. It's on a side street off grey street so very central.

I'd second the Stand it's really good. I think Rileys Fish Shack...although amazing shuts in the winter but I'd double check Crusoes and the other one which in hink might be called the View is open. If you can drive out Beamish Museum is good and does Christmas well!

Ahh this thread has made me nostalgic for Newcastle and its lovely people, albeit the last time I was there it was Gotham Town, Chase and Baja Beach Club 😱 (I'm not proud!!)

Sadly mainly shut now...RIP Baja Beach club Gotham town is still there but called something else (I used to go there from school (6th form) in my uniform and they would still serve me white russians...ah the 90s!)

My mistake Rileys is open.. definitely book that.. infact I will too now!

Riley's is open in winter but sadly suffered a lot of damage in yesterday's storm so unlikely to be open for a while.
