Lucy and Yak pinafores

I've got a Lucy and Yak mini pinafore in a medium size, and it's just incredibly short. I also have a Lucy and Yak midi pinafore in a medium size, and it's just over knee length (but it's nowhere near as long as it looks on the models online!).

If I buy a mini pinafore in a large size, will it be a bit longer, or will it just look too big?

Presumably a larger size will be wider and maybe the straps will be moved a bit further out, rather than the length being longer?

It’s a very simple design and one easily replicated. You could get one made up by a seamstress?

Or buy another midi and take it up a few inches?

They changed their design. The old style was really short and came up very small.
The new style is much better all round.
I have an old one and it's so short I can't even wear it with tights!

Yes, I wondered about having my midi one shortened FatBettyintheCoop.

I find my short one too short too, even with tights 😄 supercalifragilistic123. That's interesting about the newer styles, I bought mine on eBay to get the colour that I wanted.

I'm 5ft1 so could I wear a mini pini with thick leggings?

MsEmmeline · 20/11/2021 18:24

Yes, I think so 🙂 Invasionofthegutsnatchers.
