Best warm and waterproof coat

We are moving upto Scotland in 3 weeks time and I don't have a warm waterproof coat. I would like an insulated and warm coat for the school run and for long walks. Budget maybe about £200 at most, bonus points if I can get it from John Lewis because I have a voucher to use. I'm 5 foot 2 so nothing too long I guess but I'd quite like something a bit longer than usual I think? I've heard RAB are warm but most are not waterproof? And I've seen some Columbia that look good on JL website but I don't know anyone who has one so don't know if there any good. Thank you!

I live in Scotland and live in my Seasalt Plant Hunter.
They are pretty popular here and are a good wet/warm compromise.
Nothing worse than soggy down.

North Face Arctic Parka is waterproof and warm, they usually have black friday offers on as well which should help

@RedPanda25 I'm 5'8'' and was a size 12 and a medium fitted perfectly. 3 months postpartum now and probably a generous size 14 I can just about wedge myself into it 😂

Sorry have only just seen this.

I would say the arms area average. I'm 5" 5 and it fits me perfectly.

Sounds bizarre but it's like wearing a hug! It's so light but soft and warm. I wasn't sure at first as it's not my usual style but I love it!
