What style of jeans do you find most flattering?

I'd like to find something other than skinnies, but so far far I've been unsuccessful.

Straight legged with a high waist and rolled up. Might not suit short women but it's the best look I've found. I tend to wear chunky boots though or trainers. Might not work if you like pointed or more elegant shoes!

When I say straight legged, I don't mean very narrow ones or very wide...just loose and straight.

Unfortunately I am also short 😬

I'm 5'3 and heaviest around the thighs. I sometimes wonder if I can really tell what's flattering and what I'm just used to wearing and seeing other people wearing. But I will say this: I've worn most styles but my three all time favourite jeans have all been flares: Wranglers in the 70s and, in the 90s, Gap Long n' Lean and Citizens of Humanity.

Do I wear them now? No - I can't remember how to make shoes and coats work with them, and they're impractical in bad weather. These days I stick mainly to a narrowish straight leg if I want the jeans to be fairly anonymous and show off the rest of my outfit, or barrel leg if I want something more distinctive.

But no jeans have inspired in me the level of devotion that those 3 pairs did. Make of that whatever you wish.

I like straight legs with some stretch in them. Muji are good.

I'm tall and pear shaped and the only jeans I can carry off are M&S high waisted skinny jeans. I'm slim up top and have slim calves and ankles and heavier thighs so the skinny jeans draws the eye to the lower leg and I wear a longish top that accentuates the waist.

I've always been one for bootcut jeans. The lift, slim and shape ones from Next are my favourite brand - got them in dark blue and black.

Agree they are good! You can get them on Ebay. Don't go for light colours,less flattering.

Generally 1% elastane only!
