No I'm not preg
What is it about my posture specifically that's the issue?
Ok, where do we start - you’re slouching and letting all your weight go into your hips and knees. And you’re pushing your weight back into your heels and hips in a way that will damage your body eventually. Terrible for your posture and also for your spine.
You need to pull your spine up out of your pelvis by engaging your abdominal muscles.
Think of your abdominals as a kind of corset. Think also about pulling your Babel in to your spine, but without hyper flexing your back or flaring your ribs. Try to visualise your pelvis in a neutral position - neither tipped forwards or backwards.
Then think about letting your shoulders roll back and out. And try to get your head to sit on top of your spine. Basically, try to align your spine.
You can practice this by lying on your back on the floor, with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Think about using your breath to press the whole length of your spine into the floor. Then try to replicate that feeling of gently holding your core when you stand.
Most people have terrible posture. Holding yourself well is a basic foundation of looking well. You know, when people post in here with that silly question about looking “rich” or “wealthy”. The basic is posture.
